Big Girl A Turns 1 | Tulsa Children's Photographer

I have been photographing this little cutie since she was 5 days old.  I can't believe that she's already one!  This was one of my favorite sessions of all time.  This little angel is so precious!

 Someone just learned how to walk!

 Mom picked up this antique high chair for her birthday party.  So cute!

Seaside, Florida

My family escaped to Seaside, FL for one last vacation before my oldest starts kindergarten tomorrow (gasp!).  The weather could have been a little better - it rained all but one day that we were there.  We managed to make it out to the beach every day though in between rain showers.  In fact, I preferred the cloudy days to the one sunny day that we had.  When the sun was out, it was HOT and I think it was a little much for our little guy to handle.

I purchased a tripod and a wireless shutter remote before we left so that I could get a few shots of all 4 of us while we were there.  I'm usually the one taking photos and I rarely end up in any of them.  We were hoping to get a good family shot for Christmas cards this year!

We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be going back!

Imogen Turns 2 | Tulsa Event Photographer

This beautiful little girl turned 2 last month and I had the pleasure of photographing her birthday party.  This was my first time photographing an event and I really enjoyed it.  Unfortunately, the birthday girl never gave me a smile.  But I think I managed to capture her sassy little attitude!

This wonderful family was one of the first I photographed when I started my business two years ago.  I was so happy when the mom called and said that they needed a new family photo to show off their newest addition!  Big brother was barely sitting up by himself during our first session together and this time he was running right along side his big sisters.

Big Boy H Turns 1

My sweet little boy turned one in mid-June and I finally got a chance snap a few pictures of him in the park across the street from our house.  I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by.  He makes us laugh every day and is constantly testing his limits.  We're looking forward to watching him grow and discover the world around him.

Of course, I had to snap a few photos of his big sister too!

Mother's Day Sessions

Valentine Mini Session

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.  Once Christmas season is over, photographers get a nice winter break (at least here in OK where everything is brown and bare for the winter!).  Once the trees and flowers start to bloom in mid to late March, I'll be back in action.  For now, I'm just concentrating on spending time with my babies.  We managed to get them both decked out for a mini Valentine session this past weekend.  Here is a little peek at the fun we had.

This family was so much fun!  The mom wanted the family to wear coats, hats and scarves for something fun and different.  When she booked her session it was still in the mid to upper 60's.  Well, by the time their session rolled around, the weather changed drastically and it was cold and windy!  Luckily the warm winter gear came in handy.  On the flip side, it was so cold that we knocked this session out in 15 minutes because the kids were freezing.

I don't know how mom will feel about this one, but I love it!  We were all trying to get little sister to crack a smile (in the midst of the freezing weather) and big sister  decided that this would do the trick.  I love how little sister is looking at her like "What in the world are you doing?"

Here is the other family that I had the pleasure of working with this past weekend.  They are friends of ours so I wouldn't really call it "working".  Their three girls are so much fun!  They just ran through the park and kept picking places for me to take their photos.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job?!

I've had the pleasure of photographing this little girl several times, but this was my first time photographing her two older brothers.  Their mom had their t-shirts made with their ages on them and had a vision of exactly what she wanted for the photos.  I think they turned out so cute!

This is the largest family that I have photographed...10 people!  I'm not going to lie.  Getting that many people to look at the camera and smile at the same time isn't easy.  Considering that it was 39 degrees when I arrived at the client's home though, I think that everyone did a great job.
