M Family | Tulsa Family Photographer

This family was so much fun!  The mom wanted the family to wear coats, hats and scarves for something fun and different.  When she booked her session it was still in the mid to upper 60's.  Well, by the time their session rolled around, the weather changed drastically and it was cold and windy!  Luckily the warm winter gear came in handy.  On the flip side, it was so cold that we knocked this session out in 15 minutes because the kids were freezing.

I don't know how mom will feel about this one, but I love it!  We were all trying to get little sister to crack a smile (in the midst of the freezing weather) and big sister  decided that this would do the trick.  I love how little sister is looking at her like "What in the world are you doing?"

Here is the other family that I had the pleasure of working with this past weekend.  They are friends of ours so I wouldn't really call it "working".  Their three girls are so much fun!  They just ran through the park and kept picking places for me to take their photos.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job?!

I've had the pleasure of photographing this little girl several times, but this was my first time photographing her two older brothers.  Their mom had their t-shirts made with their ages on them and had a vision of exactly what she wanted for the photos.  I think they turned out so cute!

This is the largest family that I have photographed...10 people!  I'm not going to lie.  Getting that many people to look at the camera and smile at the same time isn't easy.  Considering that it was 39 degrees when I arrived at the client's home though, I think that everyone did a great job.

Have I mentioned before how much I love my job?  I got to spend Tuesday morning with this sweet little girl.  Can you handle her cuteness?!  Her momma is going to have me take her photos again at 6, 9 and 12 months, so you will get to see her grow on my blog.

I love this family!  I took their photos last fall and the little boy was just barely walking.  This year, he was all over the place!  Mom and dad could barely keep him still long enough to get these pictures.  And big sister was amazing!  How cute is the last photo?  She let her brother crawl on her and grab her face and she just laid there and smiled.

How adorable is this family?!  The youngest daughter was a little clingy to mom and was hesitant to smile for me, but after she decided to let go of her mom's arm, I was able to get some cute shots of her.  I love the photo of the 2 girls with each other!

Details for Christmas Card Orders

Here are the details for the Christmas cards I'm offering this year.  You have a choice between a standard card stock or a pearlized card stock.  Cards will be sold in groups of 25 and they include white envelopes.  All 5 designs come in a 5x7 size flat card.  The standard cards are priced at $40 for each pack of 25 and the pearlized cards are priced at $50 for each pack of 25.  The deadline for ordering Christmas cards will be November 30th.  That will ensure enough time for me to get the cards ordered and get them to you so that you will have enough time to get that mailed out before Christmas.

Spur of the Moment Photo Session

I ordered these outfits for my kids earlier in the summer and had every intention of doing a Labor Day photo session with them.  Well, we got back from our trip to Alaska just a few days before Labor Day weekend and I totally forgot about my plan.  So last night, about an hour before my kids' bedtime, I decided to put them in these outfits and walk across the street to our park and do a very quick photo shoot.  I was hoping to get a couple of photos of my son by himself, but he decided after about 5 minutes that he was not in the mood to have his photo taken and the photo session was over.  Here is what I managed to get.

My mom came for a visit and my kids enjoyed having her here so much!  I wish she lived closer so that they could have more of these moments.
