Friday Photo Bliss {Memorial Weekend}

We managed to get away for one last trip as a family of 3 before our new addition arrives some time in June.  Nothing too spectacular...just a long weekend down to Dallas.  We stayed at the Westin Stonebriar, which we've stayed at before and really enjoy.  Our daughter couldn't get enough of the swimming pool while we were there.  Here she is all ready to go on our last morning there.  We had to squeeze in another hour of pool time before heading back home.

My daughter turned 4 this week and she celebrated her birthday at the Little Gym.  The rings are her absolute favorite piece of equipment!

My sweet little girl (who will be 4 later this month) decided to empty her piggy bank so that she could buy herself something for her birthday.  She has been saving for a little over a year and I thought that maybe she had $50-60 saved up.  Well, after we sorted and counted all of the coins and bills, she ended up having over $120!  She already knew what she wanted to buy, so we let her take the money out that she needed for her big purchase and then we're going to use the rest to open her up a savings account.

Friday Photo Bliss

Rita (The Coffee Shop Blog) has inspired me to try something new this year.  Every Friday I will post a photo that I have taken over the past week.  These will all be personal photos of either my family or places/activities that we've gone/done.  They don't have to be perfect.  In fact, I don't even know if I'll edit them before posting.

I'm going to cheat a little bit this week and post a picture from 2 weeks ago.  I finally got a mouse for my laptop and my (almost) 4 year old daughter couldn't wait to use it on a computer game. She looks so serious!
