We just returned from a wonderful family vacation to Alaska. My husband and I are both from there, so it wasn't a "touristy" trip. We both still have family and dear friends up there and most of them hadn't met our daughter yet. Since we just welcomed a handsome little man into our family, we decided it was a great time to head that way and introduce our children to everyone.
We managed to squeeze in a trip to the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Girdwood, Alaska Sealife Center in Seward, the Reindeer Farm and Alaska State Fair in Palmer, along with wonderful visits with friends and family. It was nice to get a break from the triple digit temps we were having at home and slip on a jacket!
